What is color? Well according to W3C the definition is quite simple actually. In the W3C perspective a CSS color is one of two things: a number or a keyword. In reality an artist for instance doesn’t create a painting by simply writing on the canvass the numbers or the keywords corresponding to the colors he pictured in his head. 1. Smaller is better if you refer to images posted on the Web. In this case 10-12 kB are more than enough. There is nothing more upsetting than a slow page and the main reason for this phenomenon is represented by the huge images people tend to post on there Web pages. 1. Poor graphic design - I say it loud … this could be first reason your website sucks. One of my clients told me that more than 50% of his visitors remained on his website after he redesigned his 90’s website. Awesome effect.
